What to Wear with a Cardigan

Cardigans are great for all seasons- a great layer for winter, the perfect weather-blocker for spring, and great over a dress for cool summer nights. But we very rarely see cardigans used on their own, instead of as a complement to an outfit. Here are three outfits to help you figure out what to wear with a cardigan during the cooler months. This is the kind of outfit that fits in anywhere. A college class? Sure. A trip to the mall with friends? Definitely. A night out? Yes. The skinny jeans look like they were made for this cardigan, and with only a little bit of layering required- all you need is a tank top- you’re good to go. The earrings, purse, and boots all match the look wonderfully. I particularly love the shape of the earrings- I don’t think I’ve ever seen any design so unique.

This is definitely the outfit for a night out. The cardigan looks absolutely beautiful, and paired with those wine-red heels (I love those heels!) and earrings, this is one beautiful outfit. This is one color-coordinated outfit, and if you love white, you’ve hit the jackpot. The cardigan is an all-purpose one- it’d look just as good on a summer dress as it does on its own now. The white ballet flats finish off the look to create a lovely outfit for a night out.
